Infants (6 weeks to 18 months)

Magic Moments Early Learning Center infant care program provides a safe, warm and nurturing environment for infants between the ages of 6 weeks thru 18 months.  Our program is designed to introduce our youngest explorers to the world around them. Our infant room is designed to foster an environment that will stimulate the senses with a variety of sights, sounds, textures and sensations.

Our staff provides care through a customized program designed for each child. Caregivers interact with each child, creating magical moments through play, conversation and manipulative materials at receptive moments. As our infants mature, we place the older age groups on a similar schedule.

As your child progresses from sitting up to crawling and walking, from bottle to feeding themselves, our caregivers are there to encourage and assist them every step of the way.

Our daily schedule includes developmentally appropriate activities for infants such as book exploration, tummy time, and opportunities to reach, grasp and pull themselves upright, musical experiences and many more. Our program incorporate a balanced routine of visual and auditory stimulation, plenty of attention and age appropriate toys and activities.

In our infant rooms, you will find a safe environment for your baby to explore and learn.  We have mirrors and rugs, sensory objects, musical instruments; soft fabric toys for pretend play; safe equipment and outdoor places to safely explore; and most importantly lots of cuddly laps and open arms to provide young babies with the security and confidence they need to develop into healthy and happy toddlers.

As parents, you deserve to know everything that happens while your baby is in our care. We make great efforts to ensure that you are always informed. Through daily reports and conversations with caregivers you will be well informed about your child’s day. To make sure the care we provide is personal to you and your baby, a personal care plan includes a schedule, nutritional guidelines, and any other requirements specific to your child. The plan will reflect your child’s unique characteristics and your own beliefs, values, and culture. Regular phone calls, conferences, and e-mails are all part of this important partnership.
